Premium Display and Design
The vivo X500 Pro Max features a large display designed for users who want a premium viewing experience. Reports around the launch indicate a 6.85-inch 2K OLED panel, with a high refresh rate for smoother scrolling, gaming and video playback. The phone is positioned as the top-end model in the X500 lineup.
Vivo has also shown the phone in premium colour options, including silver and orange. The company is placing considerable emphasis on the camera-focused design, with optional photography accessories such as a teleconverter and professional imaging grip. (Gadgets 360)
Powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro Processor
Performance is another major highlight of the vivo X500 Pro Max. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro, a flagship chipset manufactured using a 2nm process. Vivo confirmed that the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are among the first smartphones to use this new processor. (Gadgets 360)
The new chipset is also important for the phone’s video capabilities. Vivo has highlighted support for advanced video recording features, including high-resolution 4K recording and professional Log video capabilities.
200MP Telephoto Camera
Photography is arguably the biggest attraction of the X500 Pro Max. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera, 200MP telephoto camera and 50MP ultra-wide camera according to the reported specifications. (91mobiles)
The 200MP telephoto camera is designed for long-distance photography and high-detail zoom shots. Vivo has also introduced an optional 400mm teleconverter, giving users a more camera-like setup for distant subjects. (Gadgets 360)
For video creators, Vivo has announced features including 10-bit video recording, Log recording and 4K high-frame-rate video capabilities. The company says the X500 generation can achieve up to 17 stops of dynamic range for video, targeting a more cinematic look. (The Verge)
Large Battery and Fast Charging
The vivo X500 Pro Max is also expected to offer a large battery. Reports have listed capacities between 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh, depending on the specification source, while 90W wired charging has also been reported. Because some detailed specifications vary between pre-launch sources, the final configuration should be checked against Vivo’s official retail specifications. (91mobiles)
The large battery could make the phone suitable for heavy photography, video recording, gaming and everyday multimedia use.
India Launch and Expected Price
The X500 Pro Max has launched in China, but Vivo has not yet confirmed its official India launch date or Indian pricing. International versions of the X500 series have appeared in certification databases, suggesting that a wider rollout is being prepared, although the timing remains unconfirmed. (Gadgets 360)
Overall, the vivo X500 Pro Max brings together a high-resolution display, flagship processing hardware, a 200MP telephoto camera and advanced video features. Its photography accessories and focus on professional video also make it one of the more camera-focused smartphones in Vivo’s latest flagship generation.
